Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, for a multi-commodity energy company, is looking for a:

Wholesale & Origination Manager – Italy

The candidate will be responsible of managing the power Wholesale and Origination activity for the Company vis-à-vis both internal and external counterparties, in close connection with the Sales and Portfolio Management teams. Experience in the gas sector will be a plus. In her/his activity, she/he will be responsible of developing a number of business initiatives and to generate profit for the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Owning to originate and develop business opportunities on power sourcing side, playing a key role in setting up a portfolio of power producers to build commercial relationship with, subscribe power procurement contracts, propose PPA structures and innovative contractual schemes;
• To develop new opportunities in the wholesale field, leveraging on existing relationships with local Sales Companies, Resellers and Large Customers, also in alignment with International Origination Company desk;
• To originate business opportunities in the certificates area, by setting-up links with producers, end users and brokers and proposing new initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 year experience in a similar role in the Italian market;
• A solid knowledge of the Italian power and gas system and of the opportunities available;
• An existing relationship with independent power producers and wholesale players in the market, that might immediately turn into business opportunities;
• Knowledge of most used contract frameworks.

She/he will be required to be proactive, dynamic, autonomous, reliable, open minded and ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Self-motivation and focus on performance will be the key elements in the selection process.

Fluency in English is a pre-requisite.
