Instrumentation & Control Systems Application Engineer

The candidate will prepare and manage technical proposals for the upgrade of Instrumentation and Control systems on Gas Compression / Power Generation, understanding business strategy and operating mode.

The Instrumentation & Control Engineer will join the Instrumentation & Control Team, providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) while interfacing with the commercial team.

They will be in charge of:

• Technical analysis of client’s needs: definition and optimization of the products, scope (description), schedule, industrial scheme, cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures.
• Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency.
• Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases.
• Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting.
• Working together with business leadership.
• Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.                                                

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least two years of previous experience in similar role within Equipment Manufacturers/EPC Contractors operating in Oil&Gas, Petrochemical or Power Generation markets.
• Experience in Customer Application Engineering is a plus.
• Oral and written English proficiency level.

Strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills are nice to have.
