Layout Engineer (E3D Designer)

The ideal candidate has a relevant experience in layout engineering using Aveva E3D he/she is able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and structured engineering teams.

He/she will be involved in both greenfield projects and in revamping and retrofit activities worldwide, dealing with a wide range of technologies and processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop the layout of systems and equipment for upgrade and retrofit proposals and execution projects;
• Prepare, update and check various plans such as layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting, and piping and component drawings;
• Incorporate and check of drawings from external and internal suppliers;
• Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with the project team as well as with consortium partners and suppliers of engineering services;
• Attend internal and external meetings as necessary to review model;
• Be the contact person in the project team for all layout related issues in the assigned area;
• Ensure maintainability, accessibility and constructability studies in assigned area,

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of Aveva E3D (former PDMS) and MS Office. Navisworks and AutoCad are a plus;
• 3+ years of experience in plant/layout design of complex plants (power, oil&gas, heavy industry) or equivalent regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing and equipment/systems arrangement;
• 3+ years of experience in creation of layout concepts of complete plants, in technical risk assessment and solution providing;
• Oral and written English proficiency level (any other additional languages is appreciated);
• Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuading personality
