Permitting and Grid Manager


As a member of the Italian based team, this role will focus on the pre-construction phase, with the aim to ensure an efficient transition of the projects from development to construction stage.

This role will require a pro-active approach towards problem-solving, hard-work and commitment to execute viable opportunities and an open-minded collaborative approach to become an integral part of the team.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a smooth transition from development to construction to operation for RES projects in Italy;
  • Interface with all the internal and external stakeholder involved in the different phases of the projects, like local authorities, grid operators, EPC contractors.
  • Providing support at all stages of projects execution from development through to construction and operation;
  • Reviewing of development documents, project design, contractual documentation, environmental studies, planning permission, grid offers, grid connection agreements and grid studies;
  • Ensure the compliance with main project contracts such as the Grid Connection Agreement, EPC, O&M/Asset Management contracts
  • Interface with external electrical engineers and supplier on grid connection issues.


Basic Qualifications and Requirements

  • University Degree;
  • Previous experience in managing RES projects and related grid connection facilities;
  • Experience in managing permitting process for RES projects in Italy towards regulatory authorities;
  • Knowledge of grid network and system operators in Italy and experience in managing interconnection;
  • Experience in managing legal and technical consultant and independent engineers;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Proficient knowledge of Italian and English language;
  • Ability to live and work in Italy.
