Technical Sales – BESS


Greentalent is a recruiter specialised in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market. On behalf of multinational company, we are looking for a:

Technical Sales – BESS


  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide technical solutions to meet those needs;
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide product feedback and ensure that customer requirements are met;
  • Study and interpret project specific technical specifications, drawings, load profiles, system management requirements. Interpret tender documents, provide technical response to tenders and clients;
  • Provide technical support to customers, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering technical questions;
  • Develop and deliver technical training to customers and the sales team;
  • Support for marketing and sales with product roll outs and fairs;
  • Support and creation of customer specific texts for tenders and offers;
  • Help the prospects in building the business plans and calculate the payback;
  • Collecting and processing of market data, experience reports and customer information;
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to promote the company's products and services;
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the BESS and renewable market and competitive landscape;
  • Developing project pipelines, concepts for better planning and implementation of projects;
  • Build up a service organization.


The candidiate will be also responsible to coordinate a team (service and project management) to:

  • Coordinate and organize projects, including all project meetings and visits on site;
  • Other implementation of the SAT tests, the final acceptance test of the project by the customer and all associated project documentations;
  • Attend site visits, document and record minutes of site meetings, transfer relevant information to applicable role players;
  • Carry out quality control and checks on work undertaken by electrical contractors, technicians etc;
  • Responsible for all matters relating to the carrying out of new BESS system assembly, wiring and testing;
  • Oversee work carried out by outside contractors. Ensure that all work undertaken is done according to local regulations and specifications;
  • Attend site commissioning activities to provide product and customer support.                                                                        



  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field;
  • At least 4 years of experience in technical sales/project engineering/project management of the BESS utility market in Europe or renewables;
  • Strong technical background in battery energy storage systems and related technologies;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues;
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
