Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible of the Engineering Department in the Asset Management Business Unit. The candidate will report directly to the Asset Management Manager.

Main responsibilities:

• Design extraordinary activities on the HP (Hydropower) Plants;
• Troubleshooting and failure analysis on operational plants;
• Electrical design (BT/MT)
• Commissioning and FAT (Final Acceptance Test) of extraordinary works performed;
• Critical analysis of end-year faults registered and KPI to propose activities to reduce overall downtime (RCM/FEMCA/Pareto);
• Define the spare parts list and warehouse management;
• Create technical registry and tree diagram for HP plants;
• Define technical purchasing specifications and verify supplies’ compliance;
• Interface with other departments;
• Communicate effectively to team members, team leads, supervisors, and managers.

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant field;
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar industrial environment;
• Experience in reading and drawing electrical diagrams;
• Good oral and written communication skills across all levels of the company;
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA programming will be an advantage;
• Clear and analytical thinking;
• Fluent in English.
