Sales Area Manager - Biomethane

On behalf of a Company specializing in integrated compression systems for natural gas applications, offering solutions applicable across the entire value chain of natural gas and biomethane, we are looking for a:

 

RNG Sales & Business Development Manager Area Italia

 

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus on industrial equipment or equivalent culture. They have at least 5-7 years of experience in sales and business development of customized technical products in industrial companies, in Italian market and availability to manage foreign markets.

The Manager is responsible for developing Company businesses, with a particular focus on RNG application, and for managing Italian market. He also works to ensure the definition and quantification of the potential market for existing and new applications envisaged by the corporate strategic plan defined by the Management, as well as the needs of existing and prospective customers.

This role will be integrated into the Sales & Marketing department and reports directly to the Sales Director.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving targets in terms of turnover, profitability, market penetration and market share;
  • Research and creation of new business opportunities;
  • Active participation in reaching the company sales budget and the budget assigned to the Manager by Sales Direction;
  • Management of the entire sales process: research and identification of the customer, creation of a profitable relationship, definition of customer needs, technical advice if required (independently or with engineering support), processing of the offer based on company procedures and submitting to the customer, negotiation, preparation of contracts and agreements, order acquisition;
  • Maintenance, development and management of profitable partnerships with existing and prospects customers 1) for the achievement of profit and volume targets for company businesses; 2) to increase contacts, business opportunities, markets and sales;
  • For existing and new applications defined by the corporate strategic plan, he works in order to 1) know in depth, follow, anticipate and analyze the trends of the reference market, of competitors, of current and potential customers, estimating the needs of the market in terms of product, technology and service; 2) identify and anticipate possible future developments in terms of new markets and new businesses, supporting in the analysis of the Company’s competitive positioning and commercial and product strategies;
  • The Manager supports the company revenue and brand growth through the development and implementation of strategic marketing, product marketing, communication actions, plan and policies identified together with the Sales Director.
  • Responsible for receivables collection;
  • Collection and processing customer feedback with a view to continuous improvement;
  • The Manager attends trade fairs, conferences and industry events;
  • The Manager prepares and submits reports to the Management on progress, results and roadblocks;
  • In order to increase company assets, full and constant sharing of data and information with colleagues and timely updating of the CRM and dedicated company systems.

 

Requirements:

  • Commercial, technical and tailor-made approach;
  • Strong transversal skills in communications/relating, organization/management, team working and planning;
  • Comprehensive capacities and interpersonal skills in relationship with customers;
  • Goal orientation and focus on customers;
  • Smart e solid person;
  • Mastery of IT tools: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), SAP.
  • Willingness to learn specific information system.
  • English: professional proficiency.

 

Completing the profile are abilities in engagement, flexibility, dynamism, strong sense of responsibility and availability to travel EU and extra EU countries.
