Technical specialist - fotovoltaico

The ideal candidate has a Technical Diploma or Engineering Bachelor/Master degree. The resource will assist the Operations team in Rome, reporting to the VP Pre-Construction in Italy. The Pre-Construction will be responsable for overseeing all the technical and administrative permitting project phases and procedures required for the construction of the plants, interconnection included.

The different responsibilities are summarized as follows: 

• Take under control all the obligations of our SPVs in terms of technical and administrative permitting and procedures;
• Documentation review of the projects: administrative permits, contracts of lands, administrative engineering, etc.;
• Monitoring and supervision of key aspects of the projects permit process;
• Organize and keep track on the constantly update of the permitting laws in Italy (both levels, national and regional), helping to grab immediately the windows that these laws could help the company;
• Management, organization, record keeping, archiving of documentation, scheduling dedicated calls and meetings;
• Assist on ad-hoc requests. 
• Management of technical and administrative web site portals (ENEL, TERNA, Region, etc.). 
• Daily technical and administrative management of the PECs of each SPV. 
• Management of technical and administrative deadlines.

Requirements: 

• At least 2-3 years of experience in technical and administrative tasks;
• Microsoft office, AUTOCAD and MS Project proficiency; 
• Knowledge of procedures for obtaining permits required to build and connect plants in Italy;
• Experience in dealing with bodies and authorities;
• An ability to perform at a high level in a matrixed organization, working in interdepartmental teams to achieve objectives. 
• Solid communication skills: capability to establish technical and administrative discussions in different cultural environments:
• Fluent in English & Italian, Spanish will be much appreciated.
• B1 Driving license essential.
• Availability to travel across Italy.
