Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, on behalf of an investment and asset management platform addressed to the renewable energy generation sector., is looking for a:

  Contract Manager 

Responsibilities:

• Lead/support the rest of the team identifying and managing risks associated with energy projects, including both technical and financial risks during all the phases of the projects (i.e. development, execution, O&M);
• Work closely with the investment team, technical team, legal team, HSE team, business development team, engineering and execution team, asset management team;
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of tender documentation and other milestones as part of the bid strategy and competitive process rules;
• Identify risks in the bid strategy and develop solutions to overcome those;
• Lead the strategy development and execution of bid/tender strategies for utility-scale wind, BESS and solar projects;
• Create, prepare, review and edit all contracts. Experience with contract specification, BoP/EPC selection;
• Negotiation of costs and terms of all contracts in order to make projects more competitive;
• Ensure internal processes and procedures relating to contract management are adhered to and work with document control and ensure all contractual documents are filed, stored and uploaded properly;
• Review and manage EPC/BoP/O&M contractor, schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans and permit compliance during contracts negotiation;
• Manage the collection, organization and filing of all project documentation, both internally and for external third-party stakeholders and project financing needs;
• Drive Contractors performance management;
• Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a technology related subject;
• Experience working for an EPC, O&M or energy company and experienced in contract and claims management, with in-depth knowledge of extension of time and costs claims, etc.
• Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team;
• Familiarity with utility-scale wind and solar is a plus;
• Fluent in Italian and English both in word and writing.
