Asset Manager PV
In coordination with the Head of Operations and the Country Managers, the PV Asset Manager will play a key role in maintaining a high operability and profitability of assets throughout the region.
Main responsibilities
- Maximize production and billing of the power plant to meet or exceed the business plan, minimize downtime and maximize efficiency;
- Monitor the plants performance through adequate KPIs and detect and resolve issues on daily, weekly and monthly basis and implement corrective action plans;
- Monitor the actuals vs budget and explain the differences;
- Supervise O&M contractors and external consultants involved in preparation and execution of the operation and maintenance activities;
- Ensure Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental objectives are achieved;
- Manage the compliance of the assets and the mitigations measures required by the authorities;
- Manage the different PPA contracts or equivalent (FIT, RID, PPA, SEU);
- Manage relationship with stakeholders during O&M (off-taker, grid operator, O&M contractor, landowners, lenders, etc.);
- Coordinate and liaise as required with local communities/customer to ensure the continuity of the relations established throughout the asset’s development and construction period;
- Assist Country head of operations for other projects (revamping or construction).
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering (process / civil / mechanical / electrical / environment) and additional Business/Project management qualification would be a plus;
- 5+ years of experience from a similar role ideally within the solar power industry and also in contract management;
- Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Effective planning and organizational skills;
- High level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to be technically innovative;
- PV plant technical experience (construction and maintenance);
- Fluent in english.
