Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, on behalf of a investment and management platform focused on renewable energy, is looking for a:

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Manager

The candidate will be responsible of developing a number of business initiatives and to generate profit for the company. He/she will report to the Global Head of Portfolio Management, located in Madrid. This role involves responsibility over a cluster of countries in Europe, in addition to the United States and Chile.

Main Responsibilities

• Leading commercial strategy of the group in the assigned countries, comprising valuation, origination, and execution of different hedging structures;
• Originating commercial relationships with relevant counterparties to build long-lasting relationships while looking for specific offtake agreements;
• Structuring, negotiating and executing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) as the main current offtake strategy;
• Leading and coordinating the route-to-market strategy for energy portfolio of the assigned countries;
• Supporting the rest of the team in other energy management tasks related to the business.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Business or post-graduate in Engineering / Energy / Business;
• Minimum 3 years of specific experience in PPA origination and negotiation, ideally in multiple countries both in Europe and in the US/Chile;
• Experience in managing multiple projects and collaborating with different internal and external stakeholders;
• Experience communicating commercial, financial, regulatory, market and contractual details to all organizational levels;
• Capable to drive the teams to accomplish targets and reach goals;
• Availability to travel according to the needs of the commercial activity;
• Fluent in English. Spanish fluency is highly desirable. Any other languages knowledge will be considered a plus.
