Quality Control Global Supplier Enablement – Casting and Machining
The QC Enabler is a function within Supplier Enablement in the Global Category Management and Supply Chain Development department of Systems Division, designated to manage enablement of new and existing suppliers. He/she has a previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Mechanical Machining field.
Main tasks:
- Manage supplier quality qualification (casting and machining) in the database;
- Prepare and deliver supplier upskilling and training, ensuring required documentation;
- Conduct inspections (QC) for test parts, onboarding, and improvement projects;
- Support suppliers in conducting inspections in accordance with standards, providing training and documentation;
- Analyze quality notifications and inspection planning to enhance supplier performance;
- Monitor and report supplier performance metrics, ensuring effective knowledge application post-training;
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for NCRs and define corrective actions for supplier development;
- Verify corrective measures and implement quality/cost objectives;
- Define and participate in audits, ensuring compliance with specific supplier requirements;
- Manage Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA): oversee production process acceptance to ensure series quality and implement corrective/preventive actions for QAA-enabled suppliers;
- Maintain detailed records of quality activities, audits, and training;
- Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and QC teams to integrate supplier quality;
- Identify and implement process optimizations for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness;
- Develop and update training materials, ensure documents cover quality control, inspection plans, product specifications, and best practises.
Candidate requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar business;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies;
- Experience of working on CMM and/or laser tracker & the procedures will be of advantage;
- Expect travel activity within Europe;
- Fluent in Italian and English.
Location: Caponago (MB) with possibility of flexible remote working.
