Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, on behalf of an investment and asset management platform addressed to the renewable energy generation sector, is looking for a:

Head Of Construction - Wind

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a technology related subject and has at least 10 years of working for an EPC Contractor, Technical Advisor, Owner Engineer, or well-known IPP/Project Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure a smooth transition from the engineering phase to the execution phase.
• Manage site surveys and technical studies conducted by third parties (geotechnical, hydrological, topographical).
• Define the base case project schedule and budget for each project.
• Oversee RFP processes, reviewing, clarifying, and challenging EPC/BOS contractors' offers.
• Lead contract negotiations for the execution of PV, wind farms, and BESS facilities.
• Oversee the execution of BoP, TSA, PV, and BESS contracts, coordinating Engineering, Procurement, and Site Management while liaising with financial and legal teams as well as the project development organization.
• Ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of high-quality wind and PV projects, in compliance with QHSE, local, and industry standards. Specifically, provide technical support to the construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with project requirements, from NTP through COD until EPC Contract Final Acceptance.
• Be responsible for monitoring project performance and reporting status updates from the construction team.

Requirements:

• Willingness to attend construction sites 3 to 4 days per week.
• Strong technical background in the renewable energy industry, particularly in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
• Experience in on-site supervision during the construction and commissioning of PV and wind projects.
• Ability to conduct technical reviews and analyses both on-site and in a back-office setting.
• Fluency in both Italian and English, both spoken and written.
