Senior Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of assigned EPC projects throughout their life cycle and ensure that projects are completed successfully on time and within budget, while minimizing risks and maximizing margins.
Based upon the acknowledged competences and experience, you will be assessed to a side step of the role, becoming PMO; such achievement will result on further responsibilities, mainly in terms of coordination, with hierarchical and functional reporting of PM’s Team.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the key contact for the Clients: build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively;
- Following the projects from the signature of the contract to the complete handover to clients;
- Managing and ensuring contract negotiations, claims, change orders with Clients, and that the contractual obligations are being met;
- Developing and maintaining and following project timeline, identifying key milestones for project's success;
- Working closely with the engineering team to follow the engineering progress, to keep the project scope under control, to eliminate the potential roadblocks, and also working closely with the supply chain department to create and follow the procurement, manufacturing/expediting, and logistics schedules;
- Coordinating with the financial department, monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, and cash flow;
- Working closely with construction managers to manage and successfully complete the site activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering discipline or related discipline;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Manager on EPC projects in international environment, and with a strong technical background;
- Willingness to take initiative;
- Availability to travel internationally as required to meet with Clients and suppliers;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proven Leadership and People Management;
- Organization, planning, reporting attitude are a must;
- Fluent knowledge of foreign languages, including but not limited to English.
